On January 1st 2011, the platforms counted approximately 77 engineers and technicians, researchers and teachers-researchers, attached to various structures dispatched on over 2900 square meters laboratories and offices.

Each platform covers a specific technological field related to functional genomics and operates 3 types of activities :

•   Highly technical services
•   Both initial and continuing education and scientific promotion
•   Methodological and technological development.

The platforms strive to respect the charter of Living Research defined by research organizations at a national level within the organizational programs of the Infrastructure in Biology, Public Health and Agriculture (IBiSA), (http://www.ibisa.net). All platforms have been labeled IBiSA and three of them (Bioinformatics, Genome-Transcriptome and Metabolome) have been acknowledged as “Strategic Platform” by INRA.
